By booking with Local guides, by phone, email or any other form the customer agrees, and accept our terms & conditions.
All payments have to be issued before the tour by credit card, bank transfer or through Paypal.
We accept Visa, Mastercard (handling fee 1,5%) and American Express (handling fee 3%). Paypal (handling fee 3%).
- Bookings more than one month before departure, 10% of tour price, non refundable deposit and confirmation payment. This deposit can be used for another tour with us later on, if you need to cancel your tour.
- Bookings less than a month before departure, are to be payed in full when booked and earlier booking are to be payed in full a month before departure.
If customers do not follow our rules for payment we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
In case of cancellation we will do our best to find other solutions, other tours in order to solve matters if possible. In longer tours we may need to follow our cancellation charges as hotels and service providers often have strict cancellation rules.
- More than a month before departure: 10%
- Less than a month before departure: 50%
- Less than two days before departure: 100%
In few of our tours we reserve the right to alter these cancellation rules due to strict rules from hotels and some service operators. In those cases, you will be informed when we confirm the booking.
Validity of prices
As all our tours are private and many of them have different variations than the tours shown on our website, we always confirm the price for each tour by email.
Prices are in Icelandic króna, ISK, and the exchange rate is the rate stated on Landsbankinn, www.landsbankinn.com, currency buying rate for “Note”.
We are not responsible for any damage or loss of personnel properties, accidents, illness, injury, or necessary change in schedule due to any causes beyond our control, like weather, strike or any other catastrophe.
We reserve the right to change schedule and itinerary due to above mentioned causes beyond our control and change the total price of the tour accordingly.
We always try to provide excellent service and make sure our customers bring good memories back home. In order to do that we are in personnel contact with all our customers prior to the tour and also after the tour, to make sure everything went as planned. Until now we have not had unhappy customer, but if that happens we will do our utmost to compensate.
